The 10-year look back at FDAMA

This is an excellent piece that summarizes both the intent of Congress in passing FDAMA (what Senator Kennedy called the ‘unecessary suffering and deaths of patients’ due to a system that didn’t provide for the special needs of patients fighting life-threatening diseases like cancer) and also what has and has not been achieved in the ten years since passage of the bill.
