Accelerating Progress

This section of our site will highlight those specific areas where Accelerate Progress is taking action and identifying, creating, and/or implementing meaningful improvements to the systems we’ve targeted.  Every area of attention has been selected because improvement in that area would logically deliver significant patient benefit over the status quo.  Sound scientific underpinnings will lead to sound structural changes so we start with a seasoned group of thought leaders across scientific disciplines to ensure that the action plans we create are thoughtful, scientifically driven, patient-focused, and realistically implementable.  We will be creating white papers and other policy papers, collaborating on working group approaches, and funding our own research in specific areas like adaptive trial designs, advanced statistical analysis techniques (Bayesian, for instance), and biomarker/diagnostics research.
